Discollector App Reviews

Love it to catalog my vinyl!

The album art upload is awesome. Helps me price my buys. I can download into excel to keep a print out for quick reference.

Great features

Really nice app. More functionality then Milkcrate. The PDF export with thumbnails and the ability to rate and make notes are all excellent features.

Awesome app

Incredibly easy to use, Ive been looking for a solid database to manage my collection and this is it. The sync with Discogs is key. A+

Weird interface, does the job I guess.

Kind of hard to use, but a nice organized way to view your collection and wantlist.

Almost perfect

Personally Id like to add the feature to add to your Personal Collection and also have option to watch the videos/YouTube clips for the songs listed per album in the app but other than that works cool! Excited to go dig records with this bad boy

Nice app

Nice app for quickly confirming what I have in my collection so I dont buy a duplicate while at a record shop or record show.

Kinda ugly and few features

This truly feels like a quickly thrown together UI for the discogs API. I bought three apps before settling on the app Discographic. This was the first and very most expensive by quite bit by app standards. Its a little hard to navigate, not pretty and didnt even have the basic feature I wanted, the ability to sort by mor than artist.

Not working for me

Cant link my discography account or create a new one aka the app doesnt work.

Convenient, helpful app

Having this makes it way easier to add a new item to your collection on Discogs. Provided they have an entry based on UPC barcode, it is a very quick way to add an item with the scan method with your phone camera.

Delete item?

Love this but I gotta be able to delete accidental duplicate entries.

Works beautifully.

I wanted to catalog my vinyl and CD collections and tried a few different apps. This one is head and shoulders above the competition. It communicates seamlessly with Discogs and keeps the full list on my phone. Highly recommended.

Zero complaints, some suggestions from a newbie

20 years collecting. Just beginning to catalog my 3000 records - and the app is working great. The access to the Discogs database is excellent and quite useable. I downloaded a similar app first but immediately moved to this one; the functionality on the other just didnt meet my needs. Some immediate suggestions: 1. it would be very nice to be able to delete doubles or remove items from the wantlist. 2. It would be nice to be able to filter the search items to eliminate the many imported/European versions. For a US collector with a run-of-the-mill flea market/thrift shop/local record store collection, this would halve the time of entry of all my records. This may be a discogs website thing, or some website-only features, but separating CDs, Tapes, LPs would be great. So would altering the alphabetization. Frank Zappa is certainly not going to get filed in the "F" section in my library!

Could be Better

UI isnt very attractive, but its workable. Wish the app could optionally sort Artist albums by date instead of by title.

App great, few minor suggestions.

Great app, awesome that it connects with discogs... I would add a few extra filters when adding items, (ex: 45s, 12", etc...) it only selects "vinyl" as of now.
