major flaws since update to 3.0.1.

This app used to be nearly perfect, but now it just wildly unusable. upon updating from 2.3 to 3.0.1, it constantly crashes when trying to update the local database on my iPod Touch.
the app makes it to step 9 of 10 “optimizing thumbnails” and crashes every time. I have retried over a dozen times now, to no avail.Other times it has crashed at 6 of 10 or even made it to 10 of 10 “finishing” before finally crashing.

We need a REAL fix for this. Please do some more testing with older larger databases with nearly complete imagery, and get the kinks worked out of your upgrade.
